As good as a first impression Steven Boardman is capable of making, any positive experience is soon in the past. The system was over priced, over hyped and I'm officially underwhelmed and too be honest i feel quite ripped off and conned. The after sale service is non existent and Steve Boardman is nowhere to be seen, contacted or replying to any communication. I would recommend avoiding Steve and any business he is associated with like the plague.

Its been a year of total disaster with the system that was installed by Wasp Security Ltd and now I understand they are no longer in business. The owner Steven Boardman is all Lip service and a total rip off. Ive been left with a $5k plus system that does not work and nobody wants a bar of it.

They had some changes in their come recently and the service is shocking. Steven Boardman was great at quoting and was always responsive. However he was let go and new management is in charge. 3 months after install our security system is still not correctly set up. It took 2 months to even send someone and now we have technician at home every week.

I would not recommend avoiding this business. I found Steve to be untruthful, unskilled and underhand. The alarm has continued to have problems and I have sought a cheaper and much more reliable option.

Terrible service. I don't even know what else to say. DO NOT use these guys if you want an alarm system that actually works. Or if you dont want to get ripped off with overpriced junk and unkept promises. This business is NOT about its clients at all, It appears it's only about making a quick buck - Or in my case a quick thousands because they are most definitely not cheap!

Had this alarm installed three years ago and there have been ongoing problems with it randomly going off to the point the whole thing was replaced. Then the maintenance means we got many calls about loss of connection to the monitoring. Finally we asked for a repair and they sent a technician but didn't tell us what the cost would be. It turned out they charged $250 to change a battery. I disputed this as I was never told there was a cost on top of the monitoring charge. They

We found Wasp Security via No Cowboys, had a quote from Steve and then went ahead with the job all without hassle. He was very accomodating to our security requirements and even did us a great deal on alarm monitoring (which has COMPLETLEY changed my views on alarm monitoring since - best decision we made!). Thanks Steve for all the effort and time - highly recommend Wasp - def NOT a cowboy! :)

Steve did a great job. Was quick, efficient and his quote was very competitive. I would recommend Wasp Security for anyone after a quality job at a great price.

Good job done - easy to communicate with - kept in contact through email and text and did the job in the time-scale we needed. Even came to pick up the key the house as we were local. Can't really comment on price competitiveness as we didn't get others up, but from generic info gathered, seemed like a fair price and others on here seem very happy. Appears honest and thoughtful in the set up of the system. Well worth getting in to quote for a job. Thanks.

What can I say - Job was priced really competitively with cameras of the highest quality I have seen in my price range. Steve was really onto it and honest, we were able to come up with solutions that suited us perfectly for our fish farming and grow out operations. I would go as far to say that I would seriously consider taking the guy down to Nelson with me when we start on our new South Island facility. Thanks mate you deserve 100%

Steve did a great job installing a burglar alarm and smoke alarms in our new house. He also arranged for someone to change all our locks. He has a great attitude and knows his stuff. Highly recommended.

Steve and Anna are great to deal with. They look after our home alarm and work alarm system which is monitored by his selected sucurity firm. We have just moved buildings and have had issues with the old alarm system, Steve has fixed these probs. Wasp security is by far the best company alarm firm I have dealt with. Steve went the extra mile and identified some issues with the existing alarm system that had not been picked up by the previous comapny that had installed and then serviced the system. Great job, WASP Security. I don't have a problem recommending you to anybody!

Steve from Wasp Security came to check our security system with a view to us changing to his monitoring company. Steve was knowlegeable and gave us good advice. He checked the remaining battery life. His monitoring price was lower than the company we were using and we were very pleased to switch. And already the system has been tested with a minor malfunction , Steve was on the phone straight away, providing solutions.
