“The people at Watertight that I spoke with and dealt with were all great. The first one over the phone advised a couple things to try/check before having to pay a callout fee, and when it turned out we did definitely need the plumber after all they were spot on time, neat and tidy, fixed things well and quickly, and explained charges well. Would definitely hire them next time.”

“Watertight were so easy to deal with when changing from a 1960's hot water cylinder to bottled gas/Rinnai system. The job was exactly as quoted on their website. Communication with Rod was fantastic and Doug was a pleasure to have in our home. He was very approachable and really thought through the placement of our gas bottles etc. We could not recommend them more highly. It was a very streamlined process and the job was complete within a day. Nothing was a problem. Will definitely be using”
“Professional and punctual, unlike some plumbers. Matt and Kyle were a breeze to get things done for us. Installed gas stove and did work in our bathroom. I engaged with Watertight plumbing to fix a leak in our watermain. I knew exactly where the leak was and sent photos and measurements. The issue was fixed however they heavily inflated their travel times. I live 9 minutes away. Yet despite this the job required 1.75 hours (this was just removing a section of hose and coupling it back together). I assumed this would all be done within the minimum call out time however since they only spent 25 minutes, their minimum call out fee does not
Poor advice, cost us additional money thru wrong advice, backtracked on the advice given by their man on the job, then hid behind their terms and conditions for charging 1.5 hrs when the guy was there under an hour and claiming he shouldn't have given the advice as it was out of their scope. I'd suggest getting someone else that actually considers customer service more important than hiding behind legal terms in small print.
Took a long time to come to do the job and then charged a lot more than I was led to believe the job should cost.
they showed up 45 min late and claimed the door bell didn't work (it works fine), apparently they tried to call me but had the wrong number, then they charged for 1.25 hours but were only here for 45min. When queried about the hours they seemed to think its justified, can be bothered arguing with these types. won't ever use again. actual work was fine and guy that came was good. They just don't give the customer the benefit of the doubt.
The times charged differed by one hour by my reckoning, actual time of job was 3 hours by my watch and we were charged 4 hours at $79 plus GST and also not sure why it took them 3 hours (they say 4 ) to replace 2 valves and service 2 others. The hot water cylinder is working well but for $750.96 we could have almost replaced the cylinder, there was a washer placed in the other cylinder and it's working okay now.
