I'm the owner of an apartment built by Prestige Construction who have also been known as Prestige Homes. From the beginning there have been issues particularly with plumbing and tiling. Nick Holcroft has come up with every excuse under the sun why repairs haven't been undertaken. Despite their impressive looking website I don't consider Prestige Construction to be at all trust worthy and are more than happy to leave clients with ongoing problems that they are forced to fix themselves -

Get it in writing: an itemised quote with scope, materials, start and finish dates, and how any changes (variations) will be priced.
Be wary of a cash-only price or pressure to start tomorrow. Both are red flags for an unaccountable job.
