Pete Cole (aka Pete's Building Services) renovated our bathroom in September 2011. Although Pete seemed very keen to get the job it soon became apparent that his work ethic did not stack up to his initial enthusiasm. Although the quality of the work that Pete completed was to a good standard we were very unhappy with the time it took him to complete the job and the cost which was 30% over what he initially quoted. On the whole the work carried out by Pete was to an excellent standard. There are a few issues arising in achieving Code Compliance and this is the area where Pete has let himself down. We have not released the final payment to him as we have not achieved CCC. His aproach to resolving these issues has let him down badly when the actual quality and process of the build was of a high standard. We would recommend using Pete Cole to anyone, however a system should be in place to tick all the boxes
