This is how it should always be. The guys were quick, very efficient, on time, and a pleasure to deal with. They found a crucial fault that we didn't know about, and so saved us from what could have been a nasty outcome. This is why we always now choose Peak for any electrical work.

These guys always provide great service. Communication is always prompt and helpful. Very happy with latest job to install extraction vent for kitchen and measures to make it blend better with the joinery!

Glen and his team are brilliant. We have had them involved throughout a series of major renovations to our house. Their prices are competitive, but most importantly their advice and service are superb. If something doesn't work as intended, they sort it promptly and without dispute. I couldn't rate them any higher.

I can't speak highly enough of these guys. After getting the run around from another sparky to rewire our house, Peak Electrical were incredibly quick to get back to me when I contacted them via their website. Glen visited within a couple of days and provided a detailed fixed quote that was more competitive than others that I had received. They were extremely professional and I immediately felt in safe hands. They arrived to do the work when they said they would, did everything on budget (even

Top rate in all respects. They responded very quickly to our on-line enquiry, and booked the job exactly when we wanted it. The electrician came on time (to the minute), and was clearly fully clued-up about the several things we needed done. He was friendly, efficient, did a very neat job, and completely tidied-up afterwards. The charge for the job was fair and exact; the invoice nicely detailed. We wouldn't hesitate to use this firm again. Better than any of the other firms we've used.

Electrical work in New Zealand must be carried out by a registered electrical worker. Confirm they are registered and hold a current practising licence on the Electrical Workers Registration Board public register before you hire.

Check the EWRB register
In New Zealand, restricted building work must be carried out or supervised by a Licensed Building Practitioner, and all electrical, plumbing, gasfitting and drainlaying by a licensed tradesperson (EWRB for electricians, PGDB for plumbers and gasfitters). Check the public register before you hire.
For residential building work of $30,000 or more you are legally entitled to a written contract and a disclosure statement setting out the tradesperson's skills, licences and insurance. Ask for both before work starts.
Look for consistent reviews across several named sources, not one polished profile.
