Our 28 year old plaster clad house needed a reclad and we decided to do a full renovation at the same time - roof, double glazing of windows, kitchen, bathrooms, decks, floor tiles etc. We engaged Paul at the planning phase, and he recommended relevant businesses e.g. architect, kitchen design etc to help us through the process. We engaged Paul Troake Construction to carry out essential work for a kitchen / laundry replacement in our 80-year-old bungalow. It has been about 50 years since the existing fittings and appliances had been installed in the 70’s and they were worn out or no longer functioned. Unexpected repairs only became apparent after the removal of existing fittings were taken out, but Laurie and Andy took up the challenge and very sympathetic restoration work was completed to a high standard. Paul listened keenly to what we wanted, and being the professional, well experienced builder that he is, fully delivered exactly what we wanted. We are happy with the final result. He has an excellent team, especially Laurie, who was onsite and overseeing things and without him, we wouldn't have achieved the great result we did. His expertise and eye for detail, was invaluable.
This is the fourth time that we have had Paul Troake and his team do work on our home. Paul came and listened to what we wanted, added suggestions then he completely took control and organized everything for our upgrade. He was amazing, he took the stress completely away from us. Early May Paul completed a project whereby part of the overhang to our upstairs deck was cut off. On meeting Paul he gave me confidence he could do the work. His team worked very well together. I would certainly use them again should the need arise.

Paul Troake Construction Ltd carried out a major rebuild of our kitchen and family room. This involved the demolition of walls and matching some of the newly exposed ceiling with the existing 40 year old ceiling which was sand blasted Douglas fir. Paul and his staff were very professional, top quality workmanship and fitted in with the deadlines and liaising with the other sub-contractors which resulted in a first class finished product and completed on time. We had a lounge and bathroom extension. Paul is excellent to deal with, very friendly and extremely professional.
