“We suffered a complete halt to our hot water and, within a couple of hours of phoning him, Dave arrived, diagnosed the problem (blown water tank element and 2 blown fuses) and set to work. His task was made considerably harder by having to crawl under our house to drain the hot water tank.... and the tank drained very slowly due to no proper outlet having been installed by a previous plumber! This did not deter Dave. A couple of hours of very hard work by Dave had the hot water tank up and”

“Back in Aug 23 Dave swapped out an element in a hot water cylinder made in the 1990s for me, we managed to get another couple of years out of the cylinder. The old girl finally popped her clogs Feb 26 after 30+ years of great service. Davo came round and he got it swapped out in less than 4 hours. It was located in a hideyhole behind a wall located behind a chimney through a very small opening so it was a pig of a job but he got it done. Great work. Thanks heaps.”

He was very prompt and proactive with communication, and was able to undertake our job within a day of us talking, which we were grateful for. His pricing was very reasonable and he was a pleasure to deal with. We enjoyed chatting to him and would definitely use him again.”

Dave was great, good quick response and identifies the problem, would not hesitate to recommend his service.
I have used Dave for both electrical and plumbing jobs. He is reliable and honest and does a good job. A few times the jobs have been emergencies and he has always made my work a priority which I certainly appreciate. He works hard to make sure you are getting value of money. Would highly recommend him.
Dave was really good. He communicated well, arrived promptly and fixed our problem. He also identified a couple of issues we didn't know we had and these have now been sorted as well. Would definitely use his services again
So appreciative of Dave. He's my go to - fantastic because he combines plumbing and electrical. He's just finished another job for me and had to mess around with a few challenges - wrong components delivered and constant delays in getting the right components, coupled with difficult access for plumbing and wiring. He constantly had to go back and forth. He stayed with it, kept in touch and turned up when he said he would which I so appreciated. Job done! Very happy.

Dave has done electrical work for me for the past 15 years. He has always been helpful and friendly an completed all of the individual jobs to my satisfaction. The most recent works undertaken were the installation of a bidet and lighting fixtures. These jobs were done in 2024. Thanks for your help Dave

What great service! Davo went in to take a look at a faulty switch, found and diagnosed another more serious problem and then came back within a few days and fixed it. Could not recommend highly enough!

Welcome back Dave. A great neat and tidy job installing some new LED downlights and a "smart" ceiling fan. What should've been a pretty straight forward job turned into a bit of a nightmare due to some previously incorrectly installed wiring necessitating Dave having to crawl around the ceiling trying to trace wiring covered with our wonderful blown wool insulation.
So glad Davo is back up and running. Swapped out a failed element in a 90’s hot water cylinder in place that was hard to get at and very corroded. Absolute pig of a job but he got it done. Wife had days with no hot water, things were getting tense. Now she is very happy. Happy wife happy life. Thanks Davo, you’re an absolute legend.
Many thanks to David Callander for attending to our plumbing emergency at short notice even on a public holiday ! Not only is David a registered plumber but he is also a registered electrician who again has helped us out for electrical repairs. I throughly recommend his professionalism and high standard of workmanship to all. Kind regards Eamon O'Donnell
