The only glitch was with the roller door which was supplied and installed by another company, it took a while for that company to sort it. But the building of the barn was great and looks super on the property.”

Morris Builders put in a new kitchen and bathroom for us. We really appreciated the skill and expertise that was evident and the problem solving of issues that often crop up in a renovation of an existing house. They were very professional, and we would thoroughly recommend them to others. They would be our first call if we have any further work to be done in the future.
We first met Aliaster after the earthquakes and since then he has been a regular at our house. His most recent work was a mammoth undertaking when he stripped the interior of our home and rebuilt it. This included removing a fireplace,putting in a cavity slider,building a new ensure,putting in building paper,Batts and straightens and relining walls. He also project managed the build and was able to supply the sub contractors. We now have a brand new modern house that is a pleasure to live on.
I have had Morris Builders complete several jobs over the last six years. In each case the costing and options of how to tackle the work were thoroughly discussed so there were never any unpleasant surprises. It was a hassle free experience and I'd thoroughly recommend Morris Builders for a quality job, completed on time.

He has undertaken some tasks that have been challenging and he has been required to access further information and advise to complete. We had a small job moving a door in a hallway and building in a wall between two rooms. Al was efficiently and tidy. Very happy with the completed work. We would have no hesitation getting Al back again.
We employed Al to do renovations on our home which included 3 bedrooms, study, main bathroom, toilet and hallway. He was easy to deal with and nothing was a problem. He was knowledgeable about the building process and made everything very easy. He gave us different ideas on any problems and helped us come to a solution. He worked well with our engineer and draftsperson to solve problems. His workmanship was top notch and he is great at communicating. Would highly recommend him to anyone.
Extremely happy with the whole project. Al and his team are efficient, professional, listened to us, friendly and the whole team are very skilled craftsman's.
Al and Don , demolished the external stairs and porch above our garage and rebuilt to a fine standard , making a vast improvement to what was there. A new hand rail with side support and better steps based on the current building code has improved access.

Al had a great team working on our extension. It was a joy to watch the progress of the construction. They were a great bunch. Al is very skilled in his profession, even the bits that were covered were perfectly cut and fitted.
We hired Al to save an older house in a fairly neglected state. This included repairs to the subfloor, removing walls and replacing a large portion of the rimu flooring. Al did a great job with thorough attention to detail and clear pride in his work. He was very patient with us and provided a lot of very useful advice throughout the process. Thanks Al!
Alistair was highly professional and gave good advice discussing the work required, and was hard working and did an excellent job on time when we gave him the work (replacement of old gib board on a wall where wind pressure had caused cracking and fixing up a decking ramp which had rotted). I would thoroughly recommend Alistair and will be using him again if we have need of building repairs/improvements.
We hired Al to complete a renovation on our 1930 house which involved changing the layout of 4 existing rooms. This included turning 2 rooms into an open plan living/kitchen which involved the need for 2 large beams. We also added 1 large deck and 1 small entrance deck. Al and his team were very efficient, helpful and professional. They managed to adjust their work as difficulties came up and find solutions to new requirements we added.
