James provides a top notch service! Great communication, friendly and gives great advice for the work that I wanted done. Pricing is reasonable, clear and no hidden surprises. The work was carried out by Jared and he is just as friendly and helpful as James. Laid out protective cover and tidied up after. Excellent team all around. This is the third piece of work I've hired them to do, and highly recommend them to anyone needing electrical work done.

I phoned James regarding what I thought was a tricky power point installation in the laundry, and immediately his can do attitude was most assuring. When Cameron arrived he was the same and immediately was able to explain to me options as to how it could be done. The job was duly completed with excellent results ('magic') and by a top guy. I can't fault JS Electrical, a pleasure to deal with and professional throughout. If I need any more electrical work done I won't hesitate to call them.

Quick response from James to get a quote and arrange a time for the job. The young man, Jacob, who turned up to do the job was professional with great manners and attitude. He re-installed 7 lights and it’s all done within 2 hours. I would definitely use them against in the future.

The electrician was good and I supplied the bulbs and he was here for 20 minutes and I ended up getting a bill for $188.60 which is a rip-off. The dodgy company put on extra charges like "electrical certification" when there was no certification required or give, Then they slam dunked a $45 "vehicle rate" but never disclosed this in advance. Then the $89 for the 20 minutes labour charge. I wouldn't use them again because of their undercover charges they never explained.

We engaged James Smith Electrical to replace 2 cables for a wastewater pump. We'd been dealing with the company that installed & serviced the pump, but their quote for the cable repair seemed quite high and they wouldn't provide a detailed breakdown. My hot water cylinder was leaking and had to be replaced. My plumber arranged for James Smith electrical to turn up at short notice to complete electrical work after the new hot water cylinder was installed. Very efficient! Highly recommended!
