I would highly recommend CHP builders for your project, and in fact I’ve already recommended them to family and friends. Martin was a breeze to work with throughout our deck build project. Everything was completed on time and to a high standard. We can’t wait to enjoy time on our deck knowing it will last us for years to come.
We would recommend CHP Builders to friends and family members. Martin project managed the renovation, and ensured we were kept up to date regarding progress on the works, key issues that may need to be dealt with, and project delivery timeframes. Martin and Jake were easy to work with, and Martin came to us with solutions or options to deal with problems when they arose (not often!) and a can do attitude.
Martin undertook a build of my new house in Ohariu Valley. Being a rural build and 300m2 on one level, presented challenges. Martin fullfilled the build project by making the process seamless and easy for me. I have had Martin build several other houses over the past 20 years and he has always been miticulous with his attention to detail and ensuring a fantastic end product. I'm so pleased with the build, I'm happy for him to use the house as a reference to others wanting to build.
Marty recently built our new two story, four bedroom house in Aotea, Porirua, what a fantastic experience we can’t recommend him highly enough. We thoroughly enjoyed having Martin and Sam back again to build our deck. Previously, in about 2010-11 they had done more extensive renovations for us, and we knew the quality of their work would be first rate. And so it proved to be. We had no problems at all and the result is spectacular. Our visitors now comment on the high standard of workmanship involved.
In July 2018 we engaged Martin Robson of CHP Group Builders and his team of builders and sub-contractors to work on a renovation to our 1929 bungalow home in Karori. The renovation took around 4 months to complete and consisted of a significant internal alternation to our dining, kitchen and laundry areas and one bathroom. As repeat customers (after some major recladding) we really appreciate their advice and suggestions and their their ability to deliver a great result. We have had a large window replaced by a security door by Martin and Sam. They arrived promptly on site and worked tirelessly. Great care had been taken to match the new door colour and style with the rest of the house. The result was very satisfactory and a quality job done to Martin's high standard. The area was left in a very clean state. We are very pleased with the result.
Martin visited us promptly to quote on, and advise us about our kitchen renovation. While we had ideas, he too made some excellent suggestions, and proposed a plan that was appealing and cost-effective. He and Sam, his young builder, always arrived when they said they would, and did an awesome job, with real attention to detail. Martin is an excellent communicator, honest and skilled at what he does. Sam is meticulous and a delight to have around the place.
We have renovated houses before and never had such a good experience as we have with Martin and Sam. We were nervous about doing renovations when we were not on hand to keep an eye - we soon found that we did not need to worry about that. CHP were totally reliable, kept us fully informed and they had great sub-contractors. We are very pleased with the results. We now have a bathroom and kitchen that are a pleasure to use and great indoor-outdoor flow.
Martin and Sam did a great job for us on very little notice. Good communication and easy to work with. He also had great contacts for electrical and plastering work. All tradesmen good to have around and very fussy about detail. This is the third time we have these guys do work for us. Would have no hesitation in having them here again
Martin and Sam have done a couple of jobs for us in the last two years (installed a new kitchen and later some new windows). What stood out for us was the quality of their work, attention to detail, and excellent communication. They did what they said they would do, when they said they would do it. CHP Group Builders renovated our bathroom earlier this year. We highly recommend Martin and his team of subcontractors. Martin and Sam are excellent builders and we were very pleased with the quality of their work. Martin is also an excellent project manager. He is efficient, a clear communicator and ran our project within agreed time frames and to our agreed quote. Martin and Sam were also very tidy in their work and courteous to the needs of our family during the time they were on site.

CHP Group Builders did a renovation on my house back in 2009. I had my first baby on the way and we needed the bedrooms to be a lot warmer with new pink bats and a new bathroom. Martin was very organised and got the job done in plenty of time before the baby arrived. He was very helpful and had great advice on what we should use in our bathroom and was open to our ideas and made them work.
