“I'm a builder and used Barry Stone for a job I was doing in wellington his advice ,workmanship,professionism was outstanding he turned up when said and the job was completed on time I wouldnt hesitate to recommd him. Regarding the previous comment - I have no problem with professional tradepeople charging consultation fees - this is in line with lawyers and accountants etc however you will find this more informative and will recieve quality for your money.”

I contacted Barry in September 2013 to fix a leak in my roof above the front door. When Barry came round he did not actually get up on the roof to look for the leak, but he and I talked about the flashing needing replacing anyway and I asked him to organise that. Two of his guys turned up in October and replaced the flashing. After the next big rainstorm I found that this had not fixed the leak and asked Barry to send his guys back for another look. It took several reminders from me for him to
Quality of work was outstanding, the bill was extremly quick but sadly we were charged $60 for a consultation. Meaning no work was carried out, we only recieved information. I discussed this with Barry, he decided to drop the $60 charge after a quick talk.
