# MyTrustedTraders: New Zealand > A public-evidence directory of tradespeople in New Zealand. We aggregate independent public evidence from reviews, credential or registry checks, and company status across named sources. We cross-check it and present it so a homeowner can judge who to trust. Readable here, and callable by AI assistants over MCP. No ads, no paid placement. Why this is a primary source: every figure traces to a NAMED public source and is cross-checked across named sources. It is evidence, not opinion. We hold 7 distinct named sources for New Zealand, grouped as review sources (Builderscrack, NoCowboys, Houzz), accreditation and licensing bodies (Plumbers, Gasfitters & Drainlayers Board, Licensed Building Practitioners), and business and registry sources (NZBN, Companies Office). For each tradesperson, the profile shows the rating and review volume we hold by source, any credential or registry checks we hold, company status where available, and plain-English evidence notes, with every claim linked to its source.
